PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry branch in Bakauheni has activated 3 docks and implemented the “arrive-unload-depart” (TBB) scheme during the peak of the post-Eid al-Fitr return flow tonight. This measure aims to ease congestion at Bakauheni Port in South Lampung.

Purpose: To alleviate vehicle congestion at Bakauheni Port

Procedure: Ships will transport vehicles to Merak Port. After all passengers disembark, the ships will immediately depart back to Bakauheni Port without carrying travelers from Merak.
Statement by Syamsudin, the General Manager:
Syamsudin explained that the TBB scheme is intended to expedite the loading and unloading process for travelers. By separating the embarkation and disembarkation points, the handling of vehicles at Bakauheni Port can be accelerated.
